In To the Meadow Cranesbill, a painting is made on an exterior wall surface of the Berghof farmhouse, by using natural mineral and silicate paints in the tradition of Swiss exterior facade decoration. 
Through layers of paint, the delicate blue-violet blooms and deeply lobed leaves of Meadow Cranesbill (Geranium pratense), a wildflower found growing in the meadows surrounding the Berghof farm, are rendered onto the surface of the building, leaving a mark of the living world that surrounds it.
